Salmon Producer Is First in Chile to Earn BAP Group Certification

Salmones Multiexport S.A. is Chile’s first salmon producer to earn Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification under the two-year BAP group audit, which is designed specifically for salmon producers. The world’s largest value-added salmon processing plant is now Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified. Morpol Spółka Akcyjna has attained BAP certification, the Global Aquaculture Alliance announced in late February. It’s Poland’s first ever aquaculture facility to do so. AquaChile Completes New BAP-C Program

Empresas AquaChile S.A. has completed the Best Aquaculture Practices’ (BAP) multi-site cluster program (BAP-C), resulting in six of its salmon hatcheries in Chile attaining BAP certification and three of its salmon hatcheries attaining BAP re-certification, the Global Aquaculture Alliance announced in late November.
