Redesigned BAP Logo Unveiled As Part Of Rebranding Campaign

The Global Aquaculture Alliance is proud to announce that its industry-leading third-party aquaculture certification program, Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP), has a new look. On July 25, GAA unveiled a redesigned BAP logo as part of a rebranding campaign that will officially roll out in October 2019. Since its inception in 2002, BAP has evolved and grown tremendously, and the rebranding campaign acknowledges the program’s journey from an industry-facing solution to a publicly recognized brand. BAP Steps Up Logo-Policing Program

The Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) third-party certification program has stepped up its logo-policing program with the deployment of a data-collection application to ensure that the BAP logo is being used properly on retail-ready packaging, the Global Aquaculture Alliance announced in early November. The BAP program integrity team has tapped Field Agent, a data-collection application that employs more than 700,000 “agents” worldwide to gather samples of data via crowdsourcing.
