Raising the Bar for Responsible Aquafeed: BAP Releases New Feed Mill Standard

The Global Aquaculture Alliance on June 15 announced the release of Issue 3.0 of its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Feed Mill Standard. This widely adopted standard has been strengthened to reflect the growing reliance of aquaculture on responsibly produced feed. Expectations continue to rise for accountability in the sourcing of marine and terrestrial ingredients, and this is reflected in ever stricter sourcing requirements. Public Comment Period for BAP Feed Mill Standard Extended

Global Aquaculture Alliance has extended the 60-day public comment period for the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Feed Mill Standard Issue 3.0. Interested stakeholders now have until Tuesday, Jan. 28, to submit input. To comment, download the BAP Feed Mill Standard Issue 3.0 comment form and submit the form to dan.lee@aquaculturealliance.org and david.yunker@bapcertification.org.
