BAP Auditor Training Course in Bali Draws 50-Plus Attendees

The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division held a successful BAP auditor training course at the Courtyard Marriott Nusa Dua Resort in Bali, Indonesia, from Oct. 21 to 27. The course attracted a total of 53 attendees, including 16 new auditors, 22 returning auditors and 15 industry observers, in addition to seven instructors and BAP staff members. Attendees came from Bangladesh, China, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, the United Kingdom and the United States. Two BAP Auditor Training Courses Added to 2018 Schedule

The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division in early March announced the addition of two BAP auditor training courses to the 2018 schedule. The first course will be held at GAA’s new headquarters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, from June 24 to 30, and the second course will be held at the Marriott Courtyard Bali Nusa Dua Resort in Bali, Indonesia, from Oct. 21 to 27. Lima To Host Next BAP Auditor Training Course

The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division invites new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training to attend a BAP auditor training course in Lima, Peru, from Feb. 4 to 10, 2018. BAP Auditor Training Course In Shanghai Draws 56 Participants

Last week’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) auditor training course was a success, drawing a total of 56 participants at the New World Hotel Shanghai in Shanghai, China, the biggest course to date. Among the 56 participants were 29 new or returning auditor candidates and 27 industry observers, including government officials, producers and other industry stakeholders. Among the 29 new or returning auditor candidates were eight processing plant auditors, eight farm auditors, four feed mill auditors and nine multi-competent auditors, who are capable of auditing at any facility level. Miami Auditor Training Course Draws 14 Auditors

A total of 14 new or returning auditors and 35 industry observers attended the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) auditor training course in Miami, Florida, USA, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3. Attendees came predominantly from Belize, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, India, Ireland, Peru and the United States.
