The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division is holding its next BAP auditor training course at the Santiago Marriott Hotel in Santiago, Chile, from April 7 to 12, 2019. New auditors, returning auditors and industry observers are encouraged to participate. BAP Auditor Training Course In Shanghai Draws 56 Participants

Last week’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) auditor training course was a success, drawing a total of 56 participants at the New World Hotel Shanghai in Shanghai, China, the biggest course to date. Among the 56 participants were 29 new or returning auditor candidates and 27 industry observers, including government officials, producers and other industry stakeholders. Among the 29 new or returning auditor candidates were eight processing plant auditors, eight farm auditors, four feed mill auditors and nine multi-competent auditors, who are capable of auditing at any facility level. Miami Auditor Training Course Draws 14 Auditors

A total of 14 new or returning auditors and 35 industry observers attended the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) auditor training course in Miami, Florida, USA, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3. Attendees came predominantly from Belize, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, India, Ireland, Peru and the United States. Latest BAP Auditor Training Course Draws Record 43 Participants

A record-high 43 auditors attended the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) auditor training course in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 19 to 25, the Global Aquaculture Alliance has announced. The BAP program integrity team regularly holds auditor training courses around the globe for new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training, as well as industry observers interesting in learning more about the about the BAP certification standards and auditing process. The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division invites new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training to attend a BAP auditor training course in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 19 to 25.
