Canada’s First Full-Line Seafood Distributor Attains BAP Certification

July, 2013 Albion Fisheries Ltd., Western Canada’s largest seafood distributor, is the latest processing facility to earn Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification, the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) announced in mid-July. Albion’s 65,000-square-foot processing plant in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, attained BAP certification on July 12, becoming the first full-line seafood distributor in Canada to earn this distinction.
